This was the destination Galen and I have been awaiting for a few months now.
We want to hurry up and catch a few bites before Aiden awakes.
We’ve actually gone to it’s sister company, which is more up scale the last time we went to Taiwan.
The two places are two totally different atmosphere of course since this is a fish market.
This box of uni is 1634 NT.
I couldn’t bring myself to buy it, plus I like the Santa Barbara uni more.
We thought this was shrimp from afar, but it turned out to be a kind of lobster.
So much of it, you can select and have them cook it for you, for a price.
But we skipped that section.
We went for sashimi as our appetizer!
Salmon belly and (hotate) scallops.
Galen even went for a little alcoholic beverage.
After the wait it was our turn.
We had a choice of the sushi bar or the seafood bar.
It was a hard choice.
The number for the seafood bar came up, so we ended up here.
Galen skipped the fruits and vegetables.
We went for the special seafood platter.
The sashimi salad came with the meal.
Can’t wait to eat!
The best item was the 毛蟹.
The sashimi cut wasn’t very good, but Galen said you can’t expect too much with the price.
Aiden woke up at the end of the meal and had a little bit of crab.
Galen says this place has become a tourist trap.
