Aiden is throwing more and more tantrums these days.
We’ve had to put him in time out until he recovers from these tantrums.
Aiden went to celebrate Jadynn’s 3-year birthday party.
For this special event we made an exception and allowed him to drink the fruit juice straight up.
He drank one whole bottle and more.
He enjoyed walking around the playground.
He wasn’t friendly the whole time either.
But we found ways to bring smiles to him.
Wonderful party favor, we are taking this to Hong Kong with us.
It was love at first sight for Aiden too.
He’s trying to figure out the right way to hold the meshed wrap pail and shovels.
He quickly caught on, after Daddie showed him the hole where he can slip his finger in.
Aiden wasn’t too interested in the teeter totter.
It’s Mommie who was hoping he would like it since she liked it so much as a kid (but rarely had a chance to play.)
Daddie’s calling the shots since Aiden’s feet don’t touch the ground.
But Aiden’s heart was never there, so it was a short visit to the teeter totter.
Oh, looky looky, it’s Honey.
Aiden was a little afraid but Honey was like a magnet.
Aiden couldn’t help but visit Honey every so often.
Mommie was scared of course, but Honey has mellowed out so much it wasn’t too bad.
We, of course, don’t want Aiden to be like Mommie.
Aiden’s first touch of sand.
Look how scared he was.
He was very cautious going down the slide.
Mommie had to come save the day.
So we let him walk barefoot.
And he was walking weird on the concrete floor.
Sometimes it looked like a T-Rex.
Other times it looked like he was in invisible heels.
Such a funny sight!
And he would walk like that at home from time to time after this experience.
Aiden found a different way to drink from a bottle.
Another unconventional way.
I guess he didn’t want to let go of the step stool.
It definitely takes more energy to drink this way, so I can’t call him lazy.
Mommie also noticed Aiden’s big toe was odd.
A while back he closed the door and hurt his foot, there were no visible bruises or marks.
But I guess it messed up his big toe nail, so now the new one is slowly pushing the old toe nail out.
Aiden will sure miss his zebra ride in Hong Kong.
Mommie wonders how he’ll adjust in Hong Kong and when he gets back home. Good luck to us!
