Aiden loves his Ding Dong cup from Taiwan.
Once in a while we will make him juice so he can drink from it.
This week Aiden is finally willing to play in his kitchen and let Mommie cook.
Wearing 2 slippers can be a pain.
So Aiden has been putting only one on.
It makes walking much easier for him.
But now that he knows where we put the slippers, he’s continually taking it out.
The slippers are everywhere.
Even though I’ve been letting Aiden practice brushing his teeth on his own for a while, he still hates it when I do it for him.
It’s the worst part of the day.
But he’s growing those molars and his gum is extremely uncomfortable.
He’s playing with his car in a different way now.
Aiden still likes to hide in tight or narrow spots.
Aiden where are you?
He loves hiding in that area, often making his way in there.
Daddie’s slippers are bigger so harder to walk with.
He still prefers playing with Mommie’s.
Sometimes he wants to wear the slippers and other times he makes Mommie wear them.
This particular time, Aiden made Mommie wear Daddie’s slippers.
And then he changes his mind.
Constant interruptions in the kitchen!
But we enjoy to watch him figure out different things.
Aiden likes lurking around the kitchen especially when Mommie’s cutting up fruit.
He doesn’t understand there are some stuff he cannot eat.
Of course he will show his disapproval.
But Aiden is usually quick to let things go.
Maybe cuz he’s a guy!
Aiden climb up on the chair on his own now.
One more thing to worry about him.
But things have finally settled down.
I’m glad that things will be back to normal when Dr. Wong asks how Aiden’s eating habits are now.
Daddie sat down with Aiden and then he was willing to play with his blocks.
He’s trying to open this cabinet but that won’t happen for a while.
He isn’t as interested in pushing the buttons of the microwave anymore.
He likes to play with the basketball now more.
But Mommie noticed that the ball lost some air.
Not as bouncy as it once were.
It seems like there are not enough phones for Aiden.
The more the merrier.
Anyhow, Aiden has gotten used to day care again I think.
The times he cried when I pick him up has decreased.
Now he runs to the door when he sees me.
He’s all smiles…if not crying and smiling.
He wants to show me all his friends.
He will go find his blankie.
He tries to help and bring his bag out.
They will let him hold on to part of the bag handle.
Now he will often flip over his stool.
His toys are all over the place.
We will have to re-teach him to put his things away.
And that time out means no touching or playing with things around him.
He still has a bad habit of throwing things on the ground when he doesn’t want it.
I think that’s what he is put in time out for most of the time.
Recently he likes the basketball more than his flash ball.
But this week his favorite toy is still the kitchen.
He likes to pretend to pour himself a cup to drink.
Look at that, you’d be fooled that there is actually liquid in his mouth.
Look at the saliva dripping from his chin.
I think he’s growing a big tooth – upper left hand one.
Uh oh… another painful one.
Next week: 18 month Doctor visit.
