I thought we were going to a simple photo shoot for the cars today.
Who knew we’d be in for an adventure!
Aiden enjoyed the short walk and time at Uncle Benny and Auntie Janice.
For some reason Aiden seemed to love being up in the mountains!
It’s his first USA mountain experience.
But I think he just enjoyed sitting on top of the car, like he owns it!
We stepped away for a moment, and he was so happy.
Some motorcycles drove by and Aiden slowly was slipping down the car.
Mommie saved the day of course!
Safe in Mommie’s arms!
Much thanks to Benny for going all out!
Got some great photos!
Up at Mount Wilson.
It was very cold!
So cold that an owner couldn’t start up his Tesla.
When Aiden woke up nobody was there.
They were all checking out the area.
Aiden refused to stay in the car.
So we put on a sweater and went looking for Daddie and the Chans.
It was so cold that even though he had a sweater on he also had a blanket wrapped around him.
2 days in a row with Uncle Benny and Auntie Janice and he remembers them now.
Especially Benny, for some reason he really likes Benny.
Aiden’s first time pushing a cart.
He accidentally bumped into this lady, but they were so nice.
Aiden is just so active these days.
With so many silly antics, like trying to put his shoes on Daddie.
He rushes to fight over so many things with Daddie: seating, slippers, lap top….
And he loves to copy Daddie
Pose for the camera
And direct us to do this and that.
I found out from school that he is the only child that always pushes his chair in.
Not only that, but he helps the other kids who forget to push in their chairs.
He’s so dramatic!
We’ve also found a better way to get him to brush his teeth.
We let him watch different youtube videos, like of cars or of himself and now brushing his teeth is almost painless.
But the biggest progress is – he is pre-potty training.
Probably because he is at the big kid side and they are potty training or are already potty trained, so he would tell me he needs to go to the bathroom.
He also learned another new song “Row Row Row your boat!”
Sometimes Aiden is very particular and he will want the slippers lined up perfectly.
Other times he makes a mess everywhere he goes.
We have to find different incentives for him to clean up.
But he is also driving me crazy!
He doesn’t want help or even listen most of the time.
Like he’ll want to put socks on by himself, not even wanting to relent after 15 minutes, and we have to force him.
Or wanting to wear pants before putting on his diapers after going to the bathroom.
And one of the oddest things is he doesn’t love watermelon like he used to.
Instead he rather have the apple sauce.
What’s going on in your simple, yet complicated head Aiden?
His other big thing is making car noises!
Wow! Can’t believe how he is so into cars!
Aiden finally got over his fever, he will have his first “parent and me” swimming class tomorrow.
