Annual event at 7-11. Free slurpee from 11 am to 7 pm.
Daddie took Aiden to catch the deal.
He wanted to use a spoon instead of the straw.
He must swallow fast because his tongue was barely blue.
Now that Aiden has mastered Acura, he is learning “Mercedes.”
Although he pronounces it without the S.
Some things are such a constant battle with Aiden that it gets tiring.
But I guess I shouldn’t think too much of it since he is in his terrible two’s.
Some things he just realizes on his own and then he will do it.
Like wearing pajamas – we never forced it on him but he just sees that’s the way it should be.
Or during dinner time if I forgot to bring out napkins, he would remind me to give one to him and Daddie.
He has wanted to help out with more things like putting his bowl and utensils in the sink.
Helping throw the bones from dinner into the trash can.
And he’s into doing silly things like funny faces – something he learned from other kids.
Or how when I put him in time out and he told me to look at him…. then he put his eye below his eyes and pulled the skin down so that the red on the bottom of his eyes would show.
As my boss said, I’m probably just seeing how Galen was when he was a kid. :X
