A friend of ours came here and the pictures sparked our interest!
They only take reservations for 2.
So we each reserved a table then we asked them a day before to let us sit together.
We had just left the beach and Aiden wasn’t ready to sit still.
We had to find ways to keep him busy.
It’s not easy!
He always wanted to throw the things on the floor.
I was a bit worried Aiden would have nothing to eat after taking a closer look at the menu.
So I asked the waitress and she brought over some sourdough bread.
This is their squash cornbread. Mixed reviews as Galen thought it was nothing special.
Our raw seafood platter!
Very fresh.
The long awaited uni. One order was truly not enough.
We got one dozen oysters, 4 for each (minus Janice).
Aiden was getting tired so we had to give him his blankie.
Clam chowder – the super watery type. I wasn’t impressed.
Salmon salad but I enjoyed the potato chip on the salad most.
Plus I don’t think anything could beat the raw platter.
Beautiful egg.
Clam chowder moustache!
Aiden seems satisfied with his meal.
Cracking different facial expressions for us.
Crab cake – I still think Houston’s tops this one.
Soft shell crab roll – spicy sauce
Aiden likes biting and chewing on hard items now – he thinks it is “adult” texture food I guess.
Delicious black cod. Aiden’s favorite – the only dish that can hold a candle against the raw seafood platter.
The pork belly was disappointing – not tender enough, the fat and meet layer/propertion wasn’t right.
But it looks like we have another satisfied customer over here.
What would I want to eat more of?
My favorites: The uni, scallop, and miso cod.
