Aiden will cry over little things these days.

The first thing he will do is cover his mouth – as if to stop to the sounds from coming out.

Then he starts bawling.

He’s got a new stance now!

Is he ready to learn some martial arts?

Aiden is excited when he learns a new word.

At the same time, Mommie and Daddie are proud when we understand something Aiden says.

Like when he pointed at his socks and said “alf. alf”

Alf?

Ohhh! He means “Off!”

Finally got it while he was face-timing with Grandparents and wanted his Grandpa to remove his hat.

Or when he said, “jip”.

I had no idea what he meant until he gave me a clue.

He put his finger to his mouth and said, “Boo Boo.”

Oh he wants to say, “唧” (tickle)

But there are things we are still trying to figure out.

Like he’s been saying, “Eddie.”

Daddie thinks he means Abby from Sesame Street.

He loves to pick up the lego blocks and pretend he is taking photos.

“Cheese!”

He has been very good with one word instructions.  Sit, Up, Hand, Come, Go, eat, sleep, stop, No……

We have a builder here!

New hat that he likes to put on to play.

He loves to wear at the cool way.

He can still do the down dog.

He’s been making such a mess.

Because of that, we have started to try and teach him to play with one thing, put it away before going on to the next items to play.

He’s not very fond of this though.

Although one time I asked him to clean before Daddie wakes up, and he did clean up a few things.

He still loves to put his cars in a row.

He not only likes to sit in this bucket.

He also likes to flip it over and sit on the bottom.

Then he will slowly move it forward without getting up.

He’s sitting like such a big boy.

It feels so warm when he hasn’t seen me after a nap and he throws his arms out for a hug and calling “mama, mama”

He isn’t that way with Daddie, but it’s because he shows his love for Daddie in a different way.

When Daddie does something he doesn’t like or doesn’t let him do something, he comes to me.

I stand by Daddie’s decision, regardless if I agree or not.

Aiden has to know that Daddie and Mommie are a united team.

He’s constantly testing to see what he can get away with.

Sometimes it drives me crazy because he knows I am worried about him, he gets a reaction out of me then he will continue that action… Like when I told him not to run around or stomp his feet in the shower.

Uh oh! “Mess,” says Aiden.

And he expects it to be cleaned right away!

Instead of strapping him up for every meal, we want him to have a little freedom during snack time.

So we’ve had him sit on his step stool or at his table.
