No Christmas Tree at home for Christmas…..
But we did leave room for some small presents.
Like his new helmet.
But the poor guy has had a runny nose for weeks, he hasn’t been in the best of moods.
Best way to turn his spirits around: go see his Uncle Benny and Auntie Janice!
And they have lots of goodies prepared for adults and children!
And lucky Aiden had some presents!
A lovely red stocking from Jaime 姐姐!
Home-made cookies from Emily and the Chans.
Pasta too!
A steering wheel to play with – which he was very possessive of.
But since he knew it wasn’t his, it wasn’t easier to state he had to share.
Although when he saw the other boys playing with it, he would rush back over to it.
Daddie was being a good helper.
While I continued to baby sit.
Dinner time!
Little Douglas is not so little anymore!
He took interest in Aiden’s food.
Aiden, of course, didn’t mind as he had his fruit drink.
He wanted to get every last drip of it!
Time to listen to the different DJ’s at work!
Nice set up!
Aiden didn’t really find too much interest here.
But Dominic sure did!
Douglas is a little climber!
Our youngest DJ Dom Dom working at the mic.
Even Jaime was ready to mix some music.
Dessert time – yummy yummy!
Aiden had the “normal” strawberry-filled vanilla cake.
What a nice Christmas Eve for him.
And on Christmas Day, he can finally take his trike out for a spin.
But only if he was willing to wear his helmet.
So he unwillingly did so.
Even though the seat is at its lowest, Aiden still can’t pedal.
So whatever it takes to get it to move.
He was out there for at least half an hour.
Of course without Daddie working hard to put the trike together, Aiden wouldn’t be able to have fun in it.
Thank you so much Daddie!
Aiden can’t quite ring the bell, he isn’t strong enough yet.
Sometimes he will walk quickly and once the trike picks up some speed, he will lift up his legs!
He had so much fun he forgot the discomfort of the helmet!
But Aiden is really loving the different vehicles out there.
Lately, he has been watching a jeep video – comparing a jeep to a John Deere Gator.
It’s over 15 minutes long, but he can sit still to watch it.
He’s watched it a few times but he still isn’t bored of it.
So funny as he prefers to watch it over the sports car videos.
So, might as well make it a learning opportunity.
For Christmas, we are also celebrating Grandmama’s and Aiden’s birthdays early.
For some reason – Aiden got a little confused.
Normally he will sing “Happy Birthday” (mumbled version) but he did not attempt to at all.
Look how excited he gets over his shoes that we bought him a few months ago!
This family is just so into shoes!
i think he’s got more shoes than me!
So much activities these days.
The times that Aiden loves the most!
But even with everything going on, he still doesn’t forget his blanket.
But lately he wants to bring toys with him to his crib.
And he’s very particular with what to bring.
It’s funny as he doesn’t care for any stuffed animals.
Instead he has preferred this two “hard” toys.
And 2 lego blocks as well.
He has taken all 3 items to bed, but Daddie has now limited what he can take with him.
