Aiden doesn’t like to wear hats.
But for the train, he was willing to do it.
Every third weekend of every month the OCME Trains are open to the public – free of charge
So of course we took the opportunity to enjoy the ride with Aiden.
Too bad it landed on a super hot day.
They are moving the train up the tracks.
We got there 10 minutes before 10, and there was already a line.
Seating isn’t very comfortable, but can’t ask for much when it’s free.
It’s for the train ride experience.
Aiden was very excited before take off!
It was about a 10 minute ride.
Aiden was all tired out with the hot rays on him and lack of sleep.
The two nutty father and son!
Aiden says he’s riding on a train!
This is the beginning of times where he would pretend he’s James Bond
Jumping off the train
To accomplish some crazy mission.
But now, it’s just his simple train-ouchie game.
But no action movies for Aiden at this time.
Just enough TV at school that he’s learning different characters like Diego from Dora the Explorer.
At home, he is stuck with his own videos
Or if he’s lucky, videos about cars.
He loves going outside.
Every day after school, he wants to go for a walk.
Sometimes he’ll head towards the apartment playground to play for 5 minutes or so.
And then if I get home sooner than Galen, Aiden wants to go outside and wait for Daddie.
Like us he is quite a picky eater.
But he’s learned to like meat more except when it’s dry or hard.
Sometimes during dinner time he’s the last one to finish.
But that’s usually because he is slow to eat or busy talking.
Now that he’s bigger, it’s not so easy for him to maneuver onto the chair from under the table.
He tried and of course the result was: he bumped his head.
We’ve been counting but he doesn’t know when to stop.
He will keep counting, regardless of actual amount, until he reaches 10.
Daddie. makes a great sofa.
Very comfortable.
He’s comfortable, but his parents are having a hard time keeping up with him.
I guess that’s why he’s got to find ways to entertain himself.
Sometimes he’ll purposely say he’s going upstairs so that you follow him.
Creative genes?
I think he’s definitely got some.
Guess his toys just aren’t exciting enough.
