We needed to go through JPN customs and luggage claim and then re-check in at the JAL domestic counter.
JAL always have these very neat baby stroller for parents.
Jadynn seems to like this more than her own.
She could sit up straight and high, able to see more of the surroundings.
Code sharing with a few more airlines.
low 23F high 30F
hope the fam ready for the cold.
But in the meantime, picture moments
Definitely will need to change into more heavy duty down jackets later
And some milk
I have been waiting for this.. FREE WIFI
Aiden is just as excited.
And a toy plane from JAL
He got the calpico drink
She is clinging to Mommy
Tired but still knows it is picture time.
She’s still sleepy
We haven’t even taken off and she is about to fall asleep
And she practically slept the whole ride from Taiwan to Kansai
As Aiden was only interested at the beginning of the flight
When we were about to land, no interest whatsoever
Daddy wished he had taken the window seat
It really works
tada… showing you whereabout.
a lot of tedious steps
Happily watching happy live on youtube, no lag.
勁哩…
lets check out the wifi speed.
looks like its going to be raining the next few days.. we will see.
But I think this is the more realistic wifi speed. Chatting with the folks from US and HKG.
More great views
So excited!
But it wasn’t all good stuff!
But can’t complain – all that matters was we arrived safely.
There was a bit of turbulence
The view is so interesting when you watch from afar
snow covering farm. so pretty.
no fun when it rain, road become very icy.
We have been wanting to come to this part of Japan for a long time.
At last we are able to!
It looks almost surreal
remind me of the Nagano trip last year. That was more intense thick snow blanket cover all over the place.
We are about to land!
As we are enjoying the scenery outside
and taking the photos
I’d say the leg of the trip that was most difficult was this day.
Cranky baby?
something else was happening right next to us
Nope!
She woke up just in time!
On the other hand, Aiden was not feeling so well.
Unfortunately all over himself and then the domino effect, Jadynn vomited a little bit too.
He barfed and barfed a lot!
Getting the kids ready for the extreme cold and wind chill.
Getting our bus ticket to the hotel.
She’d kept on pulling them off
Little Eskimo
Jadynn just doesn’t like her gloves.
Gloves don’t fit, of course she doesn’t like it
Continued to sleep
Aiden slept the whole bus ride.
We have been TRAVELING since 6am in the morning.. and its 615pm by now.
三井outlet
they got costco here too
After he vomited he felt so much better.
Good thing too!
The bus stopped a few blocks away from our hotel
It would have been rather difficult without him.
We had a challenge on our hands.
Corolla store.
We didn’t know the streets well, or the subway at this time.
Daddy handled the 2 big luggage, Aiden pushed one small one, Mommy got the other small luggage and pushed the stroller
We needed to walked a few blocks, luggage and all, all on our own
need a supercut?
I got scared when I was looking up this Tokyo Dome Hotel Sapporo from internet and this was no where to be found. After some research, they got bought by another Hotel Group and now being called View Hotel Sapporo.
After great difficulty we finally made it!
Redeeming more points for our Sapporo stay.
For all the hard work it was time to go out to eat.
Aiden was exhausted though
it’s right next to the Odori Park.
We could had gone down to the underground walkway and skipped all these icy roads… if we only knew
Due to the ice and snow, the stroller was going to cause us more headaches
These city tram has a circular route around Sapporo. We get to ride it later on.
We skipped the stroller and opted to carry Jadynn around.
So you can just keep riding it for hours
一幻拉麵… Ebi Soba
Very icy.
The guys got a kick out of “freezing” Jadynn
Luckily we only waited for a few minutes
seems to be a famous joint, they have a branch at CTS airport too.
So they kept coming by and looking at her and she would freeze and stare!
I would still prefer 五之神 over this, 一幻 soup base is too strong too thick to my taste.
Her eyes kept following him.
gyoza
Nice that they got a place to hang coats
When she finally let her guard down she wanted to eat
Feeding herself is still not an easy task
Jadynn slept so much on the plane she really was alert
And a cool high chair
Mommy not quick enough?
Mommy, you scoop it.
munching biscuit
Daddy came prepared!
Keeping the baby calm is top priority
Also, while she eats that Mommy can eat as well.
During this Asia trip, the Ramen place in Taiwan was the best,
It’s just is she eating as comfortably as she would like?
Snowing after dinner.
Snow flurries.
好浪漫呀
really? even when you tagging 2 kids along?
But would be more perfect if Aiden wasn’t so tired
Yup!
Since he didn’t want to watch, we couldn’t enjoy it
We thought it wouldn’t be snowing on this trip when we were in Taiwan
So we are just standing around enjoying the snow
So the snow came as a surprise
Before we head back to the hotel
Mommy wanted to stay out.. which came as a surprise
heading back to hotel
Because Mommy had proper boots on
Sometimes you never know how pretty something would be, until you see it
For this leg of the trip, Mommy will carry Jadynn 99% of the time unless we were indoors or at a part where the snow doesn’t hit
And didn’t want any accidents for Jadynn
Floor is way too slippery
Although Mommy didn’t fall in the snow, she did skid a bit while holding Jadynn on another day
We figured its probably smarter to take a taxi back.
Stopped by Familymart to buy milk for Jadynn and some water for ourselves.
only 650yen to ride back.. didn’t even 跳錶 at all..
later on, we have been riding taxi around town all the time.
Skipped the stairs up and down and the taxi take you right to the door.
When riding subway already cost you 220yen x 2ppl, spending few extra bucks for taxi ride just seems to make more sense.
Sapporo City is just so small and most time only cost us 650 yen to get to our destination.
