What a busy day!
Thank goodness Auntie Cindy brought along a wagon.
No need to walk the whole time.
Aiden just loved the atmosphere.
But he’s not into the whole Halloween spirit!
Now pumpkin patch he prefers.
Time to pick a free pumpkin.
Or not!
Pumpkins big and small.
Does he like small pumpkins?
Something easy to hold and carry….
Nope! He would just throw it on the floor.
Don’t put bruises on them!
Another kid will want it!
Plop!
Middle sized?
Looks too heavy.
Time to try find another one.
Such a difference between a kid that is 2 or 3 years old.
Aiden just kind of roamed around.
And Emma would sit and take family pics.
Even this little pumpkin seems too heavy.
But he definitely enjoyed this pumpkin patch more than the one at Tanaka Farms last year.
Last year it took him a while before he was even willing to touch a pumpkin.
And he couldn’t walk on his own last year either.
This time around he can’t keep still.
I think next year he will realize and willing to pick one out.
He was more interested in the signs.
In the end Daddie had to pick out a pumpkin for Aiden.
But Daddie picked a rather small pumpkin.
But we aren’t carving the pumpkin.
Instead, we are decorating it.
That’s a first!
Aiden was ready!
He was most interested in the glue stick.
But the glue stick was very weak and didn’t do very well holding up the eyes and other items.
Daddie placed some purple poms poms – Laker color.
Aiden just wanted to put different sparklies on the pumpkin.
It was a bit frustrating, more for us parents.
I’m glad Aiden was so focused!
What a great family bonding time!
I almost lost Aiden’s blanket today.
What a big scare!
End result!
I’d say we did a pretty good job.
Popsicle time!
We didn’t realize we’d be here for so long.
Need a little refreshment!
We all sat around to allow the kids to eat a little.
Aiden missed his nap time.
He will definitely conk out later when we get in the car.
We didn’t go to many other spots at the park.
Otherwise, we’d probably be there half a day.
Long lines!
We much prefer to skip that!
It was cold when we got there.
But when the clouds went away, it was pretty hot.
Aiden was not shy about having some popcorn.
This is his second time having popcorn, first time was at Costco.
Aiden definitely wants to eat more.
These days he often has a serious look on him.
He can eat grapes, including the skin part.
That makes my life so much easier.
The sweet ladies.
Scare crow pic.
Aiden treated the haystack like a slide.
It’s probably not very comfy sitting on top of it.
Free pumpkin glasses.
I think Aiden was a little scared.
Aiden the little fireman.
He spun the wheel and won a whistle.
We met Brandon on our way out the gate.
A few months ago when we met, they were about the same size.
Now Brandon is so much taller than Aiden.
Tonight Aiden is not the one whose gonna have fun.
It’s Daddie and his buddies (including Janice)
Curling.
Aiden kept wanting to step on the ice.
He wanted to join Daddie.
Daddie would take the time to say “hi”
But they were very busy and hardworking students.
Practice, practice and then games after.
Daddie rode him with the Chans afterwards!
Benny was also the photographer and videographer.
It was very cold!
Aiden was definitely not dressed warm enough.
But Aiden didn’t seem to mind at all.
He had 2 little friends to play with.
We went to the play room with Dominic.
Dominic wanted to leave soon after.
But Aiden wanted to play and pretend to drive.
But we got him out and talk a short walk around the hockey rink.
We went up the stadiums.
We basically went everywhere.
Luckily I bought some bread.
That kept Aiden busy for a short amount of time.
This is Aiden’s first time sharing his toys!
I’m so proud of him!
He shared with both Dominic and Douglas!
Is that what brings guys together? Cars?
After they left, I played Cars with Aiden.
When he wants water now, he always says agua.
But of course his eyes were on the stick used for curling.
If he saw one laying around he went after it!
What good exercise for all of us today!
