Tokyo Thanksgiving Trip – Day 5 Part 1

This is not the chestnut dessert, but caramel.

Galen tried to ask the sales lady and didn’t get it, I ended up using Google Translate.

DSC01139

So useful!

DSC01141

Busy day but the rainy times starts!

Shibuya – Sushi no Midori

DSC01144

We didn’t realize when we got there that we had to take a number at the machine.

DSC01145

So we were behind a few people even though we get there earlier than them.

DSC01148

We are both going for the 2800 yen deluxe meal.

DSC01149

Look at all that tamago!

DSC01153

We are also seeing what more should we get.

DSC01156

Aiden’s sushi is wasabi-less.

DSC01160

Our sushi will have wasabi or course.

DSC01161

I love having the wasabi in Japan, as it’s not that fake stuff.

DSC01169

Funny how I use to hate that “puff” you feel in the nose, but now I am actually liking that affect of wasabi.

DSC01170

Real food doesn’t match what is on the picture, so we got some hotate on the side.

DSC01176

Tried some cheap fish – not what we like.

DSC01178

Wait is much longer when we left.

DSC01181

They are really kid friendly, when we left Aiden got a Japanese-style Lollipop.

DSC01183

Yesterday was Thanksgiving

DSC01184

So when we went to the beer museum

DSC01185

They were closed.

DSC01188

Normally they close on Monday, but since Monday was a holiday they close on Tuesdays.

DSC01190

This is a Michelin star chef.

DSC01191

It tasted good, but Amy didn’t have any.

DSC01192

Too full from the previous meal.

DSC01193

Plus there were other desserts elsewhere.

DSC01194

Pierre Hermes

DSC01195

We got 2 pastries along with the macarons.

DSC01196

The pistachio was the best! No wonder it’s their number one flavor.

DSC01198

Very nice surprise!

DSC01200

Disney store for some unfinished shopping.

DSC01207

Busy streets but when you cross the streets, you don’t feel people hitting against you like you might in Hong Kong or Taiwan.

DSC01209

And even the rain cannot spoil how much we enjoy Tokyo.
