The last time Aiden went in the pool was over 5 months ago for his birthday.
He’s been wanting to go in the pool for weeks.
Finally got his wish.
But it wasn’t all smiles.
After a while he was ready to get out.
But we didn’t let him give up so easily.
But first some rare family pics.
I wanted more but Aiden had enough!
We did some exercises he learned from classes last year.
He didn’t quite like it when the water went in his ears.
And I think he enjoyed it more when Daddie held him.
Daddie has a better grasp on this.
It’s a good thing we went early as there were lots of people when we left the pool area.
Aiden preferred jumping into the pool.
He had a blast doing that again and again.
He was in the water long enough to get wrinkly skin.
Something he didn’t like.
It was so funny because he got out of the pool as if he were a seal.
and then he would flop back in the water.
He was very interested to see what other people did in the pool.
And of course wanted to help Daddie wipe water from his eyes.
That would probably make it worse for Daddie.
We also went to look at the animals, Aiden wanted to go inside the mini “petting zoo.”
We didn’t let him since while he was looking at the animals and a goat came close by he would hide behind us.
But he didn’t want to leave and wanted the best view there was.
Now we just got to keep me away from Aiden, so he doesn’t have animal phobia like Mommie.
Time to stand and jump in the water.
But he was scared and wanted Daddie to hold onto his hands while he jumped.
He had his first liquid nitrogen ice cream today, black sesame and peanut butter flavors.
What a busy, wonderful day for Aiden today.
Daddie took Aiden to McDonald’s for breakfast while I was at work.
What a treat, because if I was on watch McDonald’s wouldn’t be an option.
Fun times for the boys.
Splash!Splash! Daddie even dipped Aiden’s head under water – just like during class time.
He’s also learned to say fire truck in English and Chinese.
Once he has learned something new he keeps repeating it for the first day or 2.
Like he will say ” no 撞” and tell us to be careful. If only he would be a little more careful, he falls down every day. Scraping his knees again and again, before they even have a chance to heal.
