Daddie has been on the adventurous side.
We’ve been going to different parks around the neighborhood for some fun.
Aiden has definitely benefited!
He showed more signs of happy emotions, especially while on the swing.
Though we know he likes the swing, he wasn’t quite expressive before.
He is not a doll on the swing anymore.
He was very friendly with all the strangers that walked by.
Hello’s and kisses to all around.
When I pick him up at daycare, he even pointed to the swings…. but he just has to wait for the weekends.
He is happy when Mommie picks him up at day care, but not as ecstatic as when he sees his blankie.
And when he gets home, he is constantly looking for Daddie.
But Aiden had a few low points this week.
He slipped and hit his nose on the ground. Result: brief bloody nose
He had a fever towards the end of the week.
Luckily Daddie was there to tend to him in the middle of the night.
His fever went as high as 102 degrees.
Mommie thought that since he rarely had a fever the first year of his life, he’d skip high fevers for good the rest of the way. So wrong!
Just like how Mommie thought the worse stage of getting bruises was when Aiden learns how to walk.
Instead it’s when he thinks he can do things..變得天不怕地不怕
He also has a habit of making a weird expression by tucking in his upper lip, like the blurry pic above.
This week Aiden seems to have grown so much again…after last week’s short hiatus.
He moved this box filled with lego onto the ground.
I don’t know how he did it, but he stuck his hand inside his large shirt. (great way of keeping warm in the winter haha)
He’s very good at saying “no” and “no more.” Although “no more” to him is used interchangeably with his other meaning of “no more” meaning – he wants more, why is there no more?
This usually happens when he is eating. New foods of the week: tomato and strawberry. He also had “白菜莖.” He’s always preferred stem over leaf part of a plant, totally opposite of Mommie.
He still prefers this area of drinking milk when Mommie forces him to sit down.
He lugs this bag of lego around like it’s his suitcase! Oh yes, I think we can have him pull one when we go on vacation next month… hehe
If only he would pay a little more attention.
He wouldn’t keep hurting himself…like bumps that surface all over his head, including near his eyes 🙁
Daddie has been teaching him a few words which he has finally caught on.
He understands and can say “GO!”
He knows where his “pat pat” (屁股) is located.. previously he would hit his chest.
But overall, I’m so proud of Aiden. He knows when he is doing something wrong to go to his time out spot.
Time out? Easy stuff!
