18 months Aiden is immediately playful when he got to Dr. Wong’s office.
He was not sure what they were doing when they were getting his measurements.
Aiden kept looking for Daddie in the building across from us.
It’s his first well baby check up that Daddie is not able to attend.
Mommie and Aiden both miss Daddie.
What better way to keep busy, than to play with keys.
The next day we went to Manhattan Beach.
Aiden is still quite cautious of the waters.
But he didn’t cry when Daddie tried to bury his feet.
But he wanted his shovel.
In Hong Kong he was so upset when Daddie only buried his feet.
This time we buried most of his lower half.
He was only upset because he couldn’t carry the pail.
But looks like the happiest smile belong on Galen.
No smiles on Aiden as he is trying to head back “to shore.”
Many times we let him walk on his own.
Sometimes he lost his balance.
But he always got up and continued on.
Aiden was blowing a kiss at Daddie.
Aiden is super satisfied just sitting here shoveling.
But Daddie always took Aiden out to the waters.
I used a different tactic.
I would try to “lure” him towards the water on his own will.
But regardless of the tactic, he always wanted to return to his pail and sand.
We stayed for a good hour.
Aiden wanted to join the volleyballers.
Of course we kept him away from that area.
Rare juice treat.
He’s got so many different expressions while drinking the juice.
So funny.
Aiden has grown so much!
I was looking at his feet and realized it’s so much longer than I remember.
I would take Aiden out more often, but he hates putting on sunblock.
It takes forever and it drives me crazy.
But in the summers when it’s later in the day 7-8ish, it’s not too bad.
He’s out in the garden more often these days.
He loves the mist from the hose.
But he doesn’t like the shower.
Although he doesn’t mind rinsing his feet at the beach’s shower.
But then that’s because it doesn’t splash him on the head.
Otherwise he’d be crying for us.
Back to Daddie!
Time to wrap it up!
It’s time to have some delicious seafood.
We are so ready!
Post meal walk.
This time at the pier.
Nice and breezy, and no water nearby.
But now the beach is packed.
Aiden loves it when Mommie gets on the “bike” with him.
He has to do less work.
Mommie does all the work.
He’ll play a little and then ask Mommie to join him.
Sometimes he can be very insistent.
Aiden still hates having his teeth brushed.
Maybe it’s because his gums are extra sensitive.
So he’s been sticking his fingers in his mouth again.
Why wouldn’t Aiden love Mommie to join him on his zebra car now?
Aiden always points at Daddie’s back pack.
Daddie remembered we got one from Giordano.
Light enough for him.
It was fun to play with a little.
And he’s probably off again to “Costco”
Daddie did a great job with his hair cut this time! Best one yet!
Mommie did the prep.
Daddie did the rest.
Aiden eats first.
Trying hard to scoop up his dinner.
And have a taste of shrimp too!
We’re trying to let Aiden go outdoors more.
Even if that just means a short walk on weeknights.
Aiden enjoys checking out the neighborhood.
He is very quick to wave goodbye to Mommie.
We finally got Aiden his own pair of home slippers.
He still will put mine on from time to time.
We took Aiden to the Infiniti Dealership.
He wanted to check out the insides of all the cars.
He had more fun than both of us.
Aiden is ready for his own car.
