Another hour before we depart
Uh oh it’s cold and Mommy forgot her jacket
Iron man again
Aiden cannot sit or stand still.
It was a long hour wait.
Aiden was already asking where Grandpa and Grandma are.
That morning Aiden came to our bedroom and was already telling us that he’s going to go to the airport, take a long nap and then we will be in Japan.
He has been so excited, continually asking us these last few weeks when we are going to Japan.
And finally the day has come.
He was so excited it was difficult for him to be calm.
So of course he was acting up a bit.
Luckily most of that hyperness was before we got on the plane.
When we got to the airport he was constantly asking about Grandpa and Grandma.
We saw them as we waited for the bus to the hotel.
After checking in at the hotel, we went to eat Beef Tongue meal.
This was one of the best meals in Tokyo.
He would not stop moving.
The wait wasn’t long because we couldn’t sit together.
Grandpa and Grandma sat right behind us.
Aiden was not shy at all, when he needed something he would raise his hand as he wanted to ask the waiter/waitress for something.

Grandma was ready with pencil and paper to keep Aiden busy.
After our small meal, we went to check out the aquarium.
Same one we went to last time.
Aiden had much to share with Grandma and Grandpa.
We spent the most time watching this sea otter.
We stayed until she was done feeding and playing with the sea otter, as well as cleaning.
He is a pro at going for his food and taking it when it is still in the shell.
This tank is huge and a great place to rest.
Next up the seals.
This one isn’t as entertaining.
We watched penguins before we left.
But Amy was too tired to enjoy the penguins.
They had a cute penguin show though.

Aiden wanted to look but didn’t want to touch.
Time for dinner.
Fried food for tonight.

Aiden’s meal came with candies and a toy.
So much fried stuff and the cold, Mommy got sick after that.
You cannot deviate from fried food.

Normally Aiden would be super happy for sashimi… but he had something better that night.

But it is a vacation – let him go a little crazy
