09:30 出發
10:30… Mc Donald’s.
It’s Aiden’s first time at McDonald’s.
And his first meal….?
It was supposed to be the breakfast items.
But they ran out already.
So Daddie got 2 fish filet sandwiches.
One without sauce for Aiden and Mommie to share.
But in the meantime, Aiden couldn’t sit still.
He kept wanting to get onto the table.
Finally Mommie can do a little relaxing.
Aiden was looking at the car magazine.
At times he would let out a “wow!”
Other times he didn’t have much facial expression.
We still have a long way to go.
117 miles to go @ 1200pm
Aiden got a hold of the camera.
We’re still not in Vegas yet!
Drove 20 miles in the past 3 hours
We have no choice, we must go to Vegas.
Going in & out the freeway to skip the traffic @ 3:00pm
We are arriving at the scene of the accident.
Galen is assuming that it must be a fatal accident by the looks of things.
Not just police cars and fire truck, but there were also SUVs that didn’t have police logos that went there too.
Burnt down pick up truck behind the fireman.
Galen wants me to catch everything on camera.
It turns out that the people in the bus were from China going to the convention in Vegas.
And the pick up truck on the other side of the road came plowing into them.
Because Galen took the detour, we were finally able to move forward.
It was smooth sailing after that.
I’m feeling blessed that we are all safe.
Aiden is enjoying himself more now that the car has pick up speed.
I thought it was unusual that the clouds cast a shadow upon the mountains.
Daddie is still checking out how much longer before we go to Vegas.
I had a headache, but after I popped some advil the headache went away.
It’s never taken us that long to commute to Vegas.
Drove 6hours straight since we left McDonald at 1055am
Hopefully this is longest record we will hold.
We finally arrive at The Signature MGM
Our room
The room is already cluttered with our belongings.
Aiden’s crib came along with some accessories.
Time for Bouchon, Daddie’s backup restaurant.
Some hard bread to start off, even Aiden had some.
Their best dish is definitely mussels.
But none for Aiden.
Aiden continues to work on the bread.
We also ordered the hot mussel dish.
But I must say the cold ones are better, we ordered another dozen.
Pan seared foie gras for each of us and Galen ordered the New York steak.
And Aiden managed to sneak in a fry or two….
Uh oh..knife alert… time to move that too!
No wonder Aiden loves going on trips!
So many perks!
By the time we got back to the hotel (about 9:30), Aiden was in deep sleep.
What an adventure for him!
So much excitement in the new environment.
He’s so happy that he can open and close the fridge at the hotel all by himself….. it’s going to be a long trip for Mommie!
