Normally when I pick Aiden up from school, he’s willing to sit in the car seat when I give him a blanket.
But today, this did not work. He saw my keys and I let him play with it while I buckled him up.
But of course he did not want to part with it when I was all done. So I had to take it away from him.
He was not happy and of course through a crying tantrum.
So I gave him my wallet to play with instead. After a minute or so, he was okay with that replacement and stopped crying.
Probably because he forgot about the key.
Oh man, when his memory improves, we’ll have to think of other ways to keep those tantrums away.
