Aiden hasn’t taken his blocks to play for a while.
But now there is a different way to play with it.
Stack it up and knock it down!
That’s the fun part.

Copy cat Aiden wants to eat the core of the pear.
And wants to stand like Daddie.
Sometimes he treats Daddie like competition.
And he’ll say “No Daddie”, Mommie (do it)
Unless he wants something from Daddie……

He thinks it is absolutely hilarious (and fun) that Mommie’s in the stance with him.
And then he purposely bonks his head on the floor and laughs, saying “ouchie”
Aiden learns there is something bigger than a big boy.
He’s a big boy, and Daddie’s a “man.”
Why did I teach him that?
Because he kind of asked me, how did he ask me though I could not repeat.
But he caught on fast.
But he doesn’t know “woman” yet.
He also is pretty good with colors now.
Yellow, red, green, blue,purple,black, pink and orange.
He can even say color now, instead of whatever he was saying before.
I was looking at his crib the other day….
Normally little toddlers kids are filled with all these cute, soft stuffed animals.
Not his.
It’s filled with a bunch of hard things.
Like a few blocks of legos,cars, a small flashlight, a toy phone…..
And it seems like each night he’s adding more to the collection.
He’s also quite aware of integrating in the classroom and social etiquette.
I took him to school one day without bringing his shoes.
He had to wait (again) for Daddie to save the day, but in the meantime he didn’t want breakfast, his milk, his blankie, to play or to be held.
Sometimes Aiden will crawl, he’s not pretending to be a baby.
He’s pretending to be a dog – getting on all 4’s and barking.
