The Spice Table

Invited by ToORiMa, we’re here tonight to try this new fusion restaurant located in J-Town. The Spice Table was just opened early this week, and already been fully booked for few straight days already. TST’s owner – Brian is Singaporean and his wife, Kim is Vietnamese, hence this fusion place has both Singaporean and Vietnamese dishes. To my surprise, many of their dishes are quite spicy and with very strong flavor; a glass of iced cold beer definitely help clear up the strong essence of spices. The Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice are my favorite as they are very authentic. I’d definitely find another time to go back and try their remaining dishes; hopefully they are not as spicy so I can enjoy the food more.
